Marching into The American Revolution

These military drills are just one part of our fantastic Independence Day celebration of learning!  Students presented their research on topics ranging from Deborah Sampson to The Battle of Long Island to African Americans in the War.   Loyalists and Patriots competed in academic battles, showing they have learned so much about our country's beginnings.  A highlight for all was Human Anagrams led by our generals: Matt S. Mitchell D. Charlie A. and Emily S.  They were ably assisted by captains Tanush N., Makenna S., Ilex F., and Zack H. Though Patriots held the lead coming into the day's battle, the Loyalists won the day and the competition.  Congratulations to all our students for their sportsmanship, cooperation and teamwork!
