Explorer Project Due November 30
Step 1: Choose an explorer from the list on my blog. Write at least three questions you would like to find answers to. These questions are due Monday.
Step 2: Research your explorer. You will start in school and may finish at home. Use books, textbook, and the websites provided to answer your questions and find facts about the explorer you choose. Take notes on the two-column organizer or top down topic web.
Step 3: Use the given paper to make a headstone (like the ones I showed you in class). This is what should be on the headstone:
- a picture (drawn or from Internet) of the explorer
- your explorer’s name
- the dates of birth and death
- a statement telling what the explorer will be remembered for
- your name at the bottom right corner
You may decorate with any “graveyard” extras you like.
